Mom and I had the most fabulous girls weekend in April. We had the privilege to meet up with my friend and her mother in Las Vegas. We spent the weekend enjoying the good life. Friday April 20, we were able to enjoy a gourmet' Italian dinner at Terra Rossa. (The chef is the winner of "Hell's Kitchen") We ate ourselves sick as you could imagine. But what the heck, it was a weekend of fun and gorging, right? The Red Rock Hotel/Resort is where we stayed, and when I say resort, it was a resort. Check out the pool and the rooms. They were amazing. Saturday, Mom and I woke up on our nice feather mattress and feather cover beds, feeling relaxed and ready for a great day. We spent the morning at the hotel's spa. Mom and I enjoyed facials, manicures, and pedicures. (I didn't think you could improve perfection! hehehe) After the spa treatment, we decided to continue with the Hollywood life, we went shopping. We could not find a mall. So we ended up at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. We found two chairs that were equipped with foot and back massagers. (We were enjoying life, as you can tell?) All we were missing was quiet, peaceful music. Oh wait! I had my MP3 player in my purse. Now we are all set. After our massage at Bed, Bath and Beyond, we headed for Marshal’s for some clothes shopping. Mom and I found three adorable pairs of shoes. After we were spent, (financially, and physically) we headed back to the resort. This is when we got ready for the main event of our trip, The Celine Dion Concert. The Celine Dion concert was incredible. Mom and I had great seats, 12 rows back from center stage. Celine sang for 1 1/2 hours straight, with only a few costume changes. The back-up dancers would continue to mesmerize you while she changed. The lights, the props were amazing. Words can’t describe what you see. I encourage all that can, to go and see her. It is worth the money. Mom and I have always loved Celine, and what away to end our weekend together. Sunday we headed back home.
Mom and I had an incredible experience together. We were able to pamper ourselves and enjoy time together, that we don't get very often anymore. I am so lucky to have this experience.
I love hanging out with my mom; she rocks!
This is not our room, but this is what it looked like.
They had plasm tv's in the sleeping area and also one above the tub.

Here is a picture of the pool area.
Too bad it was cold and rainy so we could not use it.

The opening act of the concert. Look at the amazing costumes. They were incredible. We were so close to Celine, but from what I hear, there is not a bad seat in the place.

Mom and I (Do we look like we are having a ball?)

Here I am at Cesars Palace, right after the concert.
