Rexburg Temple

Chris and I had a wonderful opportunity to go through the newly finished Rexburg Temple. What an incredible experience it has been to see the construction process of such a wonderful building. Growing up in St. George, we were not able to experience that, we have always had a temple. A temple that I could look out my parents top floor and see.. And now I live right smack dab in the middle of two..... Saturday Chris and I saw a revelation being fulfilled. Wilford Woodruff prophesied that this valley would be full of churches and temples, and that the gospel would continue to grow and the land would be prosperous. And Chris and I are witnessing this great revelation unfold. What an incredible thing to see... Even though the temple had not be dedicated yet, still it had this wonderful spirit. I could feel my Savior's love for me when I entered the beautiful Celestial room. Our Savior has promised us so much, if we just do what we know is right. Live the lives that would make him proud. What a wonderful experience.... I was able to share this experience with a non member friend. This opportunity allowed her to experience and help her to understand why we are they way we are and why we have such beautiful buildings. She had many questions, which I tried to explain the best I could. But I know the spirit touched her too. She was excited to know and see everything I hold dear. And maybe someday this experience might help her when she is feeling alone and that there is no purpose to this life. Maybe this will open doors... Only time will tell. But I am so grateful for the opportunity to be in another one of God's Houses.
