The Avery's: PROVO GETAWAY

This past weekend Chris was able to get tickets to the BYU game. So I took this opportunity to go down to Provo with him, but not go to the game but spend the day with my to lovely sisters and my very adorable nieces. We also had the opportunity to meet and take Maggie's man with us. So we loaded into the car and headed out after work on Friday. We arrived in Provo around 9 and so we decided to meet up with Maggie and go get ice cream to celebrate her birthday.
After ice cream I decided I was too tired to do anything else for the night and Chris and I headed out to the hotel, while Ron and Maggie were heading to Rachel's house.
Saturday morning Chris and I got up and met up with our friends at Training Table for lunch prior to the game. After lunch Chris, Brandon, Robb and Bruce (Robb's pop) headed out to the game. Making sure they stopped by a store to purchase new BYU gear. As for me, I headed out to Rachel's house to finally meet Hannah aka: Butterball and see how big Brynna is getting. Rachel and I hung out with the babies and tried to finish the nursery. Rachel bought a vinyl saying and needed help putting it on the wall above the cribs. So we went to work. (it took longer than expected, because we think we had old vinyl and so we had to put each letter on one at a time.) By the time we were finished Maggie and Ron had gotten there and so we still just hung out with the babies in the nursery. After a couple of hours Chris came from the game all sunburned , and totally excited by the butt pounding BYU gave UCLA. 59 - 0 final score. The worst loss for UCLA in 79 years. Following the game we all headed out to PF Changs for a wonderful dinner. We had a great time talking and just hanging out with the fam. Brynna sat by Chris and totally loved eating off his plate. I know he didn't mind at all. That little girl already has him wrapped around her little finger. Following dinner we all headed back to the Doyle's pad and played a very intense game of Curses, that is if that game can be intense. Brynna stayed up and watched her crazy family make fools of themselves. I think she enjoyed seeing her goofy parents and crazy acting Aunts and Uncles. Sunday we were able to attend sacrament meeting with Rachel and Brandon's ward. Following church we headed back to eat dinner for Moog's birthday. We had ham, baked potatoes, green beans, and croissants. Then she made Lazy Daisy cake which is Moog's favorite. We had a wonderful time down in Provo. We loved being able to see the family and meet the newest member. We can't wait for the next opportunity.. Thanks Rachel and Brandon for putting up with all of us.
