BLOOD?

This morning I had my blood drawn for insurance purposes, well let me rephrase that. This morning for insurance purposes they tried taking my blood. Yep, the key word is tried..... The Dr. tried 4, yep 4 times to get the blood from my veins to the vials. So after the 4th attempt he decides to refer me to the lab, so after all is said and done I will have been poked 5 times and that is only if they get me after the first try. So I really want to know, is retrieving blood really this difficult? Do I have blood running through my veins? Am I dead, or should be dead? Right now my arms and hands look like the beginnings of the next Frankenstein.......
