Saturday Chris and I had the opportunity to take a few, out fishing to Birch Creek. There we met up with Robert Bird and his family. We fished for a couple of hours, enjoyed the beauty that surrounded us, and were able to eat roasted
hot dogs and
s'mores.
Those who joined us in our little adventure were: Brandon & Bridger (Chris' cousins);
Mekelle (my sister); Brooklyn (our niece), Michael (don't know his last name, but he is Brooklyn's friend), Kelly (our brother-in-law) Robert and Jill (Chris' cousin) plus their kids:
Ashlyn, Megan, Gracie, Brigham and Austin.

The beautiful view around us.

Chris taking a moment to throw in a line.

Robert preparing all of his kids fishing poles.

Brigham and Austin (twins)

Michael

Bridger

Megan

Gracie
(my new best friend, she didn't leave my side the whole trip)

Jill
(sorry this is the best picture I had of her, she started scratching her leg when the camera went off.)

Brooklyn and
Ashlyn(Became fast friends, this was the first time they have met even though they are closely related)

Here Michael is showing off his fishing skills.
He caught the first and biggest fish.

Brigham eating a perfectly cooked
hot dog.
Mekelle's showing off her first fish she has ever caught.

View of everyone enjoying out little trip.

Michael trying for another catch.

Kelly diligently fishing.

Sunset prior to leaving

Quietly waiting for one to nibble.

Determination paying off.

He finally lands it.
(Kelly caught the most fish, for a total of 3)

Bridger not wanting to go home empty handed, but
unfortunately he never caught one.

The bright yellow contrasting bird against the orange encrusted rock was a real treat to see.

Chris relaxing after
everyone's poles were set up.

All I caught was Chris looking surprised that I was taking his picture.
Mekelle trying to catch one more before having to leave.

That looks like a lot of fun! That creek looks beautiful. I bet everyone had a total blast! My kids would love a place like that.
