Easter Activities

Easter is my favorite holiday, even over Christmas. I love what it means to me as a child of God. Heavenly Father's plan is so miraculous and perfect. Easter means the rebirth of all things, and more importantly that it reflects the great day when my Savior rose from his tomb and over came death. I am also so thankful that we were able to participate with General Conference. I love that it was over Easter weekend, and how many of the talks were based off the Resurrection of our Lord. I felt the spirit so strong a couple of times during the Saturday and Sunday session, and I am looking forward to being able to read them in the next Ensign.

Today during the morning and afternoon session, Chris and I went over to his sister's house to have Easter dinner with them. It was fantastic. We had turkey, cheesy potatoes, green beans, green salad, jello salad and rolls. I loved that we were able to enjoy the afternoon with their three beautiful kids. We so missed them last week when they were out of town. So it was so good to see them. I do have to say, I think they missed us as well. We enjoyed watching the final session with them. After the final session, we headed back out to the farm and noticed that we had a new calf born. I was able to take all three kids out there, and show them the new addition to the farm. They even got to pet it, before he got up and walked over to his mom. Spring and Easter is awesome, I just love it.
