A few weeks before Maggie had little Hayden, we decided that we should have a girl night out were we leave the hubbies at home, or in this case they went to a different movie. Anyway, Maggie and I decided to see "The Last Song," even though I am NOT a fan of Miley Cyrus. Despite it having Miley in the movie, it was actually really good. No sex scenes and no swearing. Just a good story line and character that you feel like their your long lost friends. After the movie, I was told that the book was much better than the movie and I was convinced to read the book.
So, I have been reading it and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a classic romance novel with a bit of tragedy. Nicholas Sparks, he is great novelist and he sure knows how to tug at a woman's heart to make her cry, just like his other books like "A Walk to Remember" and "The Notebook." I recommend it to anyone that doesn't mind a good cry.
