A Good Day!

There is no better way to spend the remainder of the day than with the little kidlettes you love in your lives. After work I headed over to the Van Dyck's to pick up Taryn. Uncle Chris had promised her that she could spend the night this week.

When we got home, I quickly dressed in riding attire and we headed out to saddle up Sassie for our journey. Taryn has been asking me for months to take her riding, so that is just what we did.

When we had finished grooming Sassie and put her back in the pasture. Uncle Chris, Taryn and I had a great idea. We ran into the house and got out the package of water balloons. We were going to fill a few up and go attack Uncle Chuck and Johnnie who were busy on the tractor.
Taryn as we were filling the water balloons.
( I'm going to miss this toothless grin)

We set off for our undeclared mini war and bombed Johnnie and Chuck while they were on the tractor. Johnnie thought that was the greatest thing. He has a big smile on his face and just pumped his fist as if he was mad at us.
After we won our war, we headed over the field Chris is watering and took our shoes and socks off and played in the water. At first our toes were frigid, but we quickly adjusted and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
After we got back home, I give her a mini pedi and mani. She loved getting her feet scrubbed, rubbed and painted. In fact, she loved the foot rub so much, she was sad when I finished.
After dinner, Taryn and Johnnie brushed their teeth, said their prayers and went to bed, all with a smile on their cute little faces.
Tuesday was a very good day.
