Hogle Zoo (Aug. 25th 2010)

Wednesday, Chris, Brooklyn and I headed back up north to spend the day at Hogle Zoo with Tracie and her little family and Kelle before Chris and I flew out to Washington DC. Tracie came down to take Brook back to Idaho, so we thought we should do something fun while we are all there in Salt Lake. Chris and I thought that it would be fun to kidnap Rachel's little girls to come with us. So we all met up at Hogle Zoo and had a great time with everyone. I especially loved being able to spend some good time with the nieces I don't get to spend too much time with.

~~~Warning~~~
Photo overload
She loves her Aunt Kelle.
Cooling Off
Johnnie and Hannah sure enjoyed the misting machines.
They could not get enough of the wet cool air.
Ice Cream Break
We all were getting hot and tired so we headed over to the ice cream hut to cool off and rest their tiny little feet.
Hannah reaching for her ice cream.
I love how the sun is showing off the color of Hannah's beautiful red hair..
The Carousel and Train Ride
After our ice cream cones were gone we headed over to ride the rides. The kids loved it and it was so much fun watching them choose which animal they wanted to ride.
Exhausted!
Within just a few minutes of being on the road back to Provo, the little girls were asleep.
I think we wore them out.
McDonald's Fun Land
Chris and I decided that we better feed them before we had them back over to there parents. Not knowing what they would like we took them to McDonalds. Not my first choice, but what 2 years old don't love Micky D's? Plus it was another excuse to play.
Little Miss Hannah was not scared of this monstrous slide. She was up to the top before Brynna climbed the second step. Rachel is going to have her hands for with this one.
Brynna would not go down the slide, so Kelle found here inner child and went down with her.
