Conference Weekend at the Cabin

This weekend we headed to the cabin to enjoy conference, beautiful weather and breath taking scenery. We invited some of our friends to join us and in between sessions we would go four wheeling and just be outside in the 85 degree weather.

Saturday when the whole gang was here, we ate Crème brûlée Toast (thanks Mom for getting me the recipe) with bacon and sausage and fresh fruit on the side. Lunch was had good old fashioned sandwiches that were mighty tasty. Then for dinner before everyone head out we cooked pasta with garlic bread.

Sunday Chris and I enjoyed our time together. We were lazy. We got up listened to conference while we ate omelets for breakfast. Took a nap between sessions and then packed up after the last talk was given.

This weekend was so relaxing and very needed since I had been stress about school. We had a great weekend with dear friends, got to listen to inspirational messages, enjoy God's beautiful countryside and spent some time together as a couple.

Yep, a very successful weekend.

View of the cabin with the leaves changing to a brillant gold.

You can tell Mia adores her momma.
Just love this picture.

BT and Coy haning out at the old stupe.

Cute Andrus Family
(I felt bad that I didn't get a picture of the Crockett family.

Robb playing with Elizabeth while BT and Val took a quad ride by themselves.

Baylee and Mia playing tug of war with a stick. Mia prevails in the end.
Baylee loved having someone small to play with. These two were best buds all day.

Best friends forever.

This is why I love golden retrievers.
They are great with kids, you could do almost anything and they just love the attention.

Golden Aspen trees around the cabin.
Here are my well behaved puppies waiting for a treat at the foot of the door.
They know they can not come into the cabin.
Val looking official in the helmet. She is ready to do some ridin'.
On the road again.
This was Kim's first time driving a fourwheeler.
She did great, especially since the quad was not automatic.
Val and Kim modeling their nifty fourwheeling moves and gear.
Kim and I on top of the hill.
Baylee got a taste of what it is like to be on the quad.
She was not able to keep up with the quads and Buddy,
so she got to ride instead.
