Update Really? What is that.

The past few weeks have been crazy. We went down to St. George for Kelle and Gene's wedding, which was absolutely gorgeous. We are so excited that they found each other. While down there, we all caught the flu, and boy it was a nasty flu. The boys (hmmm, Ron, Dave and Chris) were keeping scores between the three of them, to see who puked and went to the bathroom the most. So, that wedding will probably be remembered for that.

After we got home, two days delayed due to the illness, I had to work like crazy to get my school work caught back up since Chris and I were heading down to Salt Lake for the Jazz game and I would be missing Monday and Tuesday in school as well. I had gotten Chris the tickets for Christmas, before Kelle had gotten engaged so it made for 2 quick trips to Utah and missing a total of 7 school days, which is never good. Chris and I had a great time. It has been awhile since we had done something like that just the two of us. We usually have someone with us; (though we enjoy everyone's company) it was still nice to be just us two.

Coming back from that trip, I had to strap myself down to do a ton of homework since it was midterms last week. Before we left for Utah, I spent all day, and I do mean all day (noon to midnight) doing a practice test for my math class and oh boy, I am so glad I did. The instructor said a few questions would be pulled from it for the midterm, but they all came from the practice test. I got a 100% on it. I came out of the class elated. Following many nights of 4 hours of sleep or less, I was caught up with homework, studied for 3 midterms, and wrote 5 papers. I was so relieved when last week was over.

Saturday Chris and I headed up to Montana again. We had to purchase another bull for the herd, so we got up early on Saturday and headed out. The bull auction was a success for those selling the bulls and not so much for those of us on the buying end. Bulls this year are much more expensive than last. Some went as high as $6000 while I don't think last year they were higher than $4500. I told Chris that we were in the wrong business. We need to be selling bulls. So that is pretty much all that has happened to us the past few weeks. I am hoping for a quieter weekend this coming weekend, I just want to stay home.

PS. Chris tallied up the miles he has driven the past 3 weeks. Can you believe it, close to 2600 miles. He needs a breake too.

The new bull, he looks pretty mellow. I hope he stays that way.
