The last weekend in July, we had visitors that came up to say goodbye to the Garner Family. Mom came up and brought with her Rachel's kids (Brynna, Kaleb and Hannah). This was the first visit to my house for the Doyle kids and so we wanted to make it fun for them and a great ending to our summer with the Garners.
Friday July 26th we started the day out with a trip to the zoo. We spent most of the morning and early afternoon at the Idaho Falls Zoo. There we got to see the many babies that had been born there this year. That included a zebra, sloth bears, flamingos, ring tailed Lemar and a few others. The kids enjoyed the exhibits and enjoyed each others company.
Following the zoo, Chris bought a trampoline. I know that Lucas is still quite a few years away from enjoying this but Chris bought it anyway and thought it would be fun for the kids to play. So we went home and while we got lunch together Ron and Chris (with the help of the kids) put the trampoline together. They were so excited. They had the trampoline up in record time. The kids and the adults enjoyed the trampoline the rest of the day. They were all tuckered out from such a fun filled day.
After we put the kids to bed, the adults headed out and spent the next 3 hours lying on the tramp and looking for satellites and falling stars. It was so nice and peaceful.
