Monday evening for family home evening we decided to carve pumpkins and get ready for Halloween. Lucas was so excited since we had cheated already with terracotta pumpkins we bought at the store and have had them lit up ever since. Now we get to design one ourselves. We picked out a kitty cat design since he loves them and when he saw the design he cried out Toot Toot. So it was easy to pick.
I carved while Chris stood and watched with Lukie. He didn't like the feeling of the pumpkin guts and wouldn't touch the it. But the whole process didn't take as long as I thought it would and we were done within the hour. It was a fun little project and Luke was so happy when he got to put the candle in it and light it up.
