Chris and I had a wonderful Christmas. We had the opportunity to feed the Avery Clan. Chris and I decided it would be easier to feed the family then it would be to buy presents for everyone. So that is what we did. Chris and I made Christmas Eve dinner. You name it, we had it on the table, in fact we had so much food, we ate it until almost New Years Ever.... It was good and delicious.
This Christmas has been one with a lot of snow. On Christmas Eve day, we received close to 12 inches of new snow. So much snow we got our car stuck in our driveway. So we had fun digging it out.
Christmas day we woke up to blue skies but cold, cold weather. We headed over to Chris' dad's house to open the presents. It was so much fun to see all of the nieces and nephew open the gifts, there was so much stuff, it was incredible. Chris gave me a nice pair of dress boots, a beautiful picture of the Sacred Grove, to help us remember our incredible trip to New York in July. He also gave me cranium the game. Can't wait to break it open and show my competitive side. Watch out Chris! This Christmas, I had a hard time figuring out what to get my hubby of nine years. I was running out of things to get him. Nothing cool in electronics came out this year. So I had to get creative, really creative, like Martha Stewart creative. I made him a quilt. I took all of his favorite sports teams and put them in the four corners, then I put his nick name of Coy in the center. It turned out pretty good. I surprised myself. Non of this would not have been possible if I didn't have a sewing machine. I got that for high school graduation. So i have had it a long time. i just have not really used it,but now my confidence is up so hopefully more projects will come from it. Thanks Mom and Dad. So we had a great christmas and we loved spending it with the family. Hopefully the new year will be better for us and his family.
Happy New Year..
