Havin' Fun

My trip to St. George was a great success. I was able to enjoy beautiful weather and gorgeous scenary. Coming down into St.George was breath taking. Everything was in bloom. Cactus, trees, and even Indian Paint brush. The hills were green from the new found vegitation....... Thursday I was able to spend most of the day with Rachel and Brynna. We were able to take Dad a milk shake to him at work and meet with Grandma for lunch. It was a great treat to go to lunch with Grandma. I miss her so much. Thursday night Mom threw a BBQ and invited our cousins Natalie, Jed and Ella over. After the bbq Mom and I stayed up past 1, just talking girl stuff. It was so much fun. I can't even remember the last time we did that....... Friday I spent the majority of time with the girls. Mom, Grandma, Rachel and I were able to attend a temple session. It was an amazing experience. I felt the spirit so strong. I was incredible. After the temple, us girls met up with Dave, Andie, Dad, Kelle and Brynna, for a nice lunch at Durangos. It was great going to lunch with everyone. Dad had his little car out and I was able to ride with him to and from the restaurant. It is hillarious to see the kind of looks you get when you drive around St. George in an English made Harold Triumph. Friday evening we went over to Grandma's house to help her plant her flower pots. She has got a fantastic ability with flowers and all plants. And anyone that knows her will know what I am talking about. I was able to take a few pictures of some of the beauties she is growing in her yard. (they are in the slide show) Saturday morning, I got up and headed out to the back yard to hang out with Mom while she planted her flowers. I have some great memories of her doing this my whole life. We reminiced about those great memories and how fun it is to garden. (That is if you don't still have snow on the ground at the end of April) After Mom had her little project almost complete, I headed out with Dad to help him with the sprinklers at Dean Terry's place. We had a great time messing with the sprinklers and getting soaked while we tried to replace some of the sprinkler heads. I think he just enjoyed the company. After we got back, I was able to talk to Moogly. It was so good to hear from her, and actually hear her voice and not just read what she has to say. I can't wait until she is home. I miss the little skunk.... Saturday afternoon the whole family headed over to Fiesta Fun for a round of very competative miniture golf. It was so much fun to see how competative our family is. I think we get it from Dad but Mom came in a close second. Infact, she is the only one that got a hole in one on the 18th hole. Way to go mom... We had a great time and in the process of having a great time, I was able to give my poor pale skin some color. Yep you read that right, I have the beginnings of a farmers tan.. Wahoo.. Got to love the ability to get some sun and color when you come down to Sunny St. George. I had a great time as you can tell, and I didn't let any second go to waste. I ran almost 24/7.. But I loved every minute of it...(It would have been better if Maggie was there with us, but at least I was able to talk to her.) Thanks Mom and Dad for making my trip a great success. I can't wait to do it again, maybe even make it a ritual... Rachel, thanks for going with me. It makes the trip ,easier when you are not lonely, when you have someone to drive with.. Thanks Coy for allowing me to go, even though you had to stay behind because of school....
Enjoy the pictures of my crazy days in St. George....

I love my Grandma! She is the greatest lady around....
