Awesome Storm

As most of my family knows, my hubby is huge into weather. He watches the weather channel religiously. He really should become a meteorologist.... We had an incredible storm come through and we couldn't resist, we had to get our lawn chairs out and watch the storm. As you can see from the pictures the atmosphere was really unsettled. You can see the clouds swirling and at one point we thought we were going to have a tornado form. We watched for about an hour and really enjoyed the beautiful cloud formations, they are truly spectacular and powerful. Chris and I would love to do a vacation of storm chasing in the mid west, someday.
