REASON TO CELEBRATE

Okay this is kind of lame, but it makes me so happy.
Last Wednesday I was on my way home from work and was just turning down my road that takes me to my house and saw that the road was closed. I couldn't think of any reason why our road would be closed, so I had to turn around and go the long way home. (which I might add, it adds another 4 to 5 miles onto my commute) Well Friday afternoon I went into town with Chris and we decided to try to go the normal route and hopefully whatever they were working on was finished and the road would be open. Well to our great SURPRISE and DELIGHT we came to our railroad crossing and found that it had been fixed.
ALLELUIA!
And for all of those who have been to my house, will rejoice in this too. Whenever we came to the crossing we couldn't just go over it, we had to maneuver the car as far over to the right or the left as we possibly could just so we wouldn't bottom out our car or even puncture our tires. And in the winter it was even worse. The snow would blow and get stuck on the tracks then it would melt onto the damaged railroad ties and make a nice skating rink to go over with your car. So if you had to plow through a snow drift, you would have to make sure to be going slow enough over the track that your car wouldn't slide out of control. And believe me, I have done a few 360's due to hitting the ice to fast when trying to come over the tracks. So as you can tell it was really bad and it has been like that ever since I moved to Idaho, so that is about 10 years now. But thankfully it is fixed and it should last a good long time.
