Chris and I headed down to St. George for thanksgiving again this year. We were excited to have the time off from work and school. We filled our time down there with a variety of activities.
Wednesday we ran all sorts of errands to help make Thanksgiving a success. I spent most of the morning running around with Dad, we even had the chance to visit mom up at work.
Thursday was basically spent cooking and then enjoying the family while we ate the amazing feast mom prepared for us. She is an amazing cook. After dinner we spent the rest of the evening playing card games.
Friday we went target shooting and had a great time with that. I had not a clue that our family had such talent at hitting targets. I do have to mention this though, we had a scary experience. After we were through shooting into the targets we were packing all of the gear up and all of a sudden we could here bullets fly past us, we could here just the movement of the air. But about the 5 shot, we actually could here the whiz of a bullet flying past us. We were so sacred and ticked off. We finished packing in record time and got the heck out of there. As we drove down the hill, we were tried to find the people that we thought the bullets would be coming from, but we didn't have any luck with that.
Friday night we went bowling and had a great time. Chris had a great comeback. He was down by quite a few pins and came rip roaring through the last frames with a turkey and came out the winner by three pins. I was so proud and he seemed as though he was astonished that he had a game like that.
Saturday morning I went with Andrea, Maggie and Ron to get their engagement pictures done. It was a blast. Andrea got some amazing shots. She is quite talented. After we arrived back to the house, I helped Dad with his little sign project and was very proud of what he accomplished. I also had a blast going out to the horses. We took Brynna there and she was so excited. Dad put her on top of the horse, which she wasn't quite sure of but she loved riding in the wheelbarrow and just watching the horses. After we got back from the horses we got puttered around the house and played some video games. All in all our trip was super fantastic.
Thanks Mom and Dad for making our trip so much fun.

I'm glad you had fun! Too bad we (our families) never got to see each other. Maybe over Christmas?
