Her name is Italian for:

Beautiful, little precious one.

Saturday we added a new addition to our family. We honestly were not planning on adding a new dog to our family until spring, but we for the past few weeks we have been just looking at our options on KSL classifieds and Craigslist, but like I said, we really didn't want to get one until spring. But Saturday morning Chris was just glancing over the classifieds in the local news paper and he came across the ad for her. I made the call to see what she was like and how much they were asking for her, you know the basic questions you might have if when adopting a puppy. I told the guy to send me pictures of the dam and sire (mom and dad) plus a picture of her. I was willing to wait until the pictures. Because I knew what I wanted in the Golden Retriever breed. But once I told Chris the info I had received over the phone, he could not wait. He didn't want to run the risk of losing her. So we headed down to Rupert Idaho later Saturday afternoon.

Bella is AKC registered Golden Retriever. She is considered a light-blond in color. She is a fur ball right now. Her father comes from a great line of retrievers from New York. His pedigree has 15 out 16 AKC champions. Some were best of breed and many others actually took best of show, which is huge in the AKC dog world. Her mother is not quite as good of blood lines, but still really good.
