Stanley Idaho

Chris never knows where his day will lead. He might have something planned, but nothing is solid, things might come up at the farm or in the delivery business. Well, this happened to me on Wednesday. Chris needed to deliver a BBQ to a home in Stanley. It's at about a 3 hour drive with all the winding roads, it follows the Salmon River. Chris asked me to tag along to help him deliver and to drive. So I skipped lunch and left early. When I started my day, I never thought I would end up in Stanley. We didn't get home until almost 11:30, so I knew it would be hard to get up the next morning for work, but it was worth the trip. I got to see beautiful scenery and even better I got to enjoy it with my hubby.

Chris and his imaginary wood flute.
What a goof ball, but I wouldn't change a thing about him.

The homestead we delivered too. It was the most remote place I have been in Idaho.
We drove 4 miles on a back road. But they have a paradise. I mean look at that view.

Sawtooth Mountains

Sawtooth Mountains from top of the hill.
All I could think of was to sing, "The hills are a live with the sound of music,"
at the top of my lungs and find my inner Maria.

Ever creek feeding the Salmon River was flooding, made for beautiful waterfalls.

Thats it no more early days for you!!! If you can't bring the beauty back with you to the office you are required to suffer with the rest of us! I love Stanley and the drive is one of the best parts of getting there. After seeing the pics you posted it makes me want to take a day trip!
