We were able to cook up quite the feast and made plenty for 10 people not just 3, but who doesn't love Thanksgiving leftovers.
(New Old House)
(First time I have ever made them, and they turned out perfectly and were so yummy.)

Cletis the turkey
(family tradition to name our dead turkey, warped I know, but Rachel and I have been doing this since we were teeny tiny.)
My turkey, it was a little darker due to the seasonings I put on it, but it was so juicy.
(I put garlic cloves, chopped onions, apples, butter and apple cider in the cavity, turned out so good. Chris was impressed.)

(Dixie Salad (a must), stuffing, mashed taters, devilled eggs, olives and cheesy celery sticks, croissant rolls, and yams (personal favorite).
Chris and Alex waiting for the opportunity to dig in, but I had to take a picture of the first Thanksgiving out our house.
After dinner we cleaned up and took the ritual naps after eating, to help our poor tummy's digest the heaping amount of food we ate. Later John, Tracie and their kids came over for pie and to play games. We had a great time laughing and just hanging out. We ended the day playing hide and seek and having a sleepover in our big family room with the little kids.

Even with having our thanksgiving plans cancelled, I think we had a great holiday and can not wait to do it again next year.

I can't wait until we can come up and play at your new house- Happy Thanksgiving.
Impressive feast! If it were just our small family I'd just have the turkey and potatoes. Maybe I'll head up there next year.
What is Dixie salad?
