A Good Weekend.

This weekend has been so nice. I am not sure if it is because we had a great time with friends and family or if it is because it was the beginning of my spring break. Maybe it is a combination of them all.
Friday night, we got Chris a new dog. He had to wrestle with the cows a couple of times this week. I came to the conclusion that we better get him some help and it should be sooner than later. I thought if we got the puppy now, by the time he really needed help this summer, the puppy would be big enough to help Chris out. Last year, we surely missed having Maverick on the farm. He was such great help, though Chris's dad had gotten a couple of older dogs, they were more of a nuisance than help. In fact, they were killing cats and calves, and that just doesn't fly on a farm.. So they are no longer here.

After we got Tonka we headed up to Ron and Maggie's house to have dinner. They let up bring Tonka with us. Hayden loved the puppy, but lets say the puppy was a little scared. But we had a great time and they made us some amazing bbq'd hamburgers.

Saturday evening, we had the Garners (Maggie, Ron & Hayden), the Fullmers (Justin, Shalawna and Colston) and Mike and Michelle (Maggie & Ron's friends, don't know their last names) over to watch the BYU vs Gonzaga game while we ate yummy pizza. We had a great time, and Colston and Hayden were able to interact with each other. Hayden at some points of time, didn't like it, because he had to share, but they liked watching each other.

So we had a great weekend, and I hope next weekend with be just as good.
