Flower Garden and Great Company

My tulip bed had finally come to an end and was being over ran by weeds so Friday evening I spent a few hours clearing out the weeds and topping off the old tulip leaves. It took a couple of hours but I enjoyed it. Maggie brought Hayden out and he helped me, while Ron went with Chris to change the water in the grain fields. Hayden is such a boy and loves to be outside and playing with the dirt, gettting all sorts of dirty.

The flower bed before getting the weeds pulled and the tulips being topped.

It was totally neglected.

Hayden weeding with me, I think he ate more dirt than anything.

Another shot of him actually eating the dirt.

After the weeds had been pulled, and a much better

looking flower garden than the weed fillled one.

The final product after all of the flowers had been planted.

It consists of shasta daisies which remind me of my momma, lilies which are my favorite flower plus my momma loves them too. And there is multiple varieties of petunias and allysum.

After the weeding was done, we brought out the small kitties.

Hayden loves them so much.

While I was planting the the flowers on Saturday, Hayden was enjoying the kiddie pool Uncle Chris brought home earlier that morning.

Maggie playing with her favorite kitty Molly.

Meet Max.

The kittens were having a fun time playing in the lillies and plants.

While we were weeding and planting, Ron was hunting magpies

and spied the owl sitting on his perch.

Tabby was interested in the phone no

t so much the flowers or plants as her brothers and sister were.

Buddy was just happy to be around.

He is constantly posing for the camera, he is not camera shy.

Baylee is such a sweetie.

She loves pleasing me and is turning out to be such a wonderful dog.
Tonka is mia, he has dog A.D.D. He can't sit still long enough to get a clear picture of him.

Hayden was a mess by the end of the day on Saturday.

He played hard and ate a lot of yummy food.

We had another great weekend. I loved that we had weather in the mid 70's low 80's. It was perfect. I hate the winters in Idaho, but it makes it all worth it when you can spend the whole day outside and not have go in during the mid day because of the mid day heat.
