As I mentioned in my last post, Chris had to change water on the barley field and that consists of moving a canvas dam. But he had helpers this time to make the process a bit better. While Chris walked the fields to see if the lands were finished.

Taryn drove the quad. It was her first time doing it all by herself. And she did a fantastic job.
While we were gathering the dam making supplies, Baylee decided to cool off by swimming in the ditch.
As we lugged over the logs. Taryn did her part and hauled a log over that probably weighed half of her body weight.
Chris started the process of securing the braces before he placed the canvas sheet across the ditch.
Once Chris got the braces secured and canvas across. Taryn was being hany to hand him the shovel so he could secure the sides of the canvas.
Taryn was using her body to keep the edge of the canvas where it needed to be while Chris let the water fill the tarp.
Filling up the resevouir.I am standing on the other corner to do my part.
Chris anchors the bottom of the tarp down with huge chunks of mud.
Chris anchors the bottom of the tarp down with huge chunks of mud. What good dogs. Have I mentioned lately that I have the best puppies in the world.
Finally got a somewhat good picture of Tonka. He can't sit still for very long. He has dog A.D.D.
After dam was built and the ditch was filling up high. I caught Taryn in the Barley and thought it was too pretty with the sunset, so I had to take a picture.
Last night's sunset over the lush barley field.
