Old Nerd

Too funny not to write down and keep the memory fresh.

Sunday night Chris received a phone call from our niece. She went to explain that this week they had a few activities planned for school and tomorrow (Monday) all students were supposed to dress up like a nerd. She then ask him if she could borrow some of his clothes and glasses to wear. He got a disgusted look on his face. Kelle, Gene and I all busted up laughing. Our 12 year old niece thinks her uncle is a nerd. He followed the question by asking her if she really thought he was a nerd, and she couldn't back pedal fast enough.

This just adds to the blow that was given by our other niece last year.

Johnnie was given a Buzz Lightyear toy and Chris mentioned that he didn't have Buzz as a toy when he was a kid and Taryn reassured him that it was ok, because he had DINOSAURS.

So Coy, even though your nieces think you are nerd and old, I want you to know that I love my old nerd!
