Christmas 2015

What a fun Christmas day. It is so much better being the parent and seeing the reaction on the cute baby's faces than getting for yourself. We headed down to St. George Christmas Eve and left a lot later than anticipated because of being Santa Clause for other families with our delivery business, so we were not able to do the Christmas Eve activities, but that is ok. We are spending Christmas at Dave and Andrea's house.

Christmas Eve each of the kids were given jammies to wear. Callie was already asleep when we arrived but we watch Kyler and Lucas get in their matching jammies and enjoy each other. They didn't want to go to bed.

Christmas morning we woke up and Mekelle and Gene's family came over along with Grandpa since Grandma had to work. We had breakfast together and then we went under the tree. It was so fun seeing each kid react to their gifts. So magical. I love this time of year truly, just not the busyness of it trying to get it ready, that I could live without.

Christmas afternoon, we all headed over to Grandpa and Grandma's house for their Christmas. There they announced to all of the grandkids, (can you believe it, we had everyone here for Christmas) that Grandma and Grandpa were taking them to Disneyland for Christmas. The reaction was priceless and wish I had some pictures, but I was living the moment and not making sure I had pictures. (Kind of wish I had them now). Grandma and Grandpa had their Christmas train deliver the message. It was really cute. After the excitement of the day wore on, we headed back to Dave's house and made sugar cookies. It was so much fun seeing David cut out shapes with the two boys. It was so much fun to be with all of the family and worship our dear Savior on the celebration of His birth. It is what its all about.
