PSEUDO PARENTS FOR THE WEEKEND

Chris and I had the opportunity of watching our nieces and nephew over the weekend, while their parents headed down to Salt Lake to take in a Jazz game and to celebrate their 10yr anniversary.
We went to Leo's Place on Saturday to eat pizza and burgers. After they were full we headed off to Blast Off. They played in the ball pit, on the ice ball machine and climbed and played throughout the playhouse. After Blast Off we went to Peaches, where they were able to see Easter Bunnies, birds, fishes, puppies, guinea pigs and everything else you can image in a pet store. Saturday night we made homemade chocolate chip cookies. They were in heaven. They loved measuring and combining the ingredients. The cookies turned out flatter than normal, didn't put in enough flour. But they still tasted really good.
Sunday we went out to the farm and had to feed the cows for Grandpa John. While we were out there we were able to pet the newest member of the herd. There was a brand new charcoal grey calf with really coarse wiry hair born. He was maybe one hour old. They all were able to pet him and Brooklyn and Taryn loved being able to do that.
Chris and I had a great time with the kids. And I do believe they had a great time with us, since they asked their parents to leave again soon so they could stay with us again. We are exhausted but I am not sure if that is because of the time change or running after 3 kids.

Brooklyn, Taryn & Johnnie at Leo's Place

Taryn and Johnnie waiting patiently for their food.

Johnnie, Brooklyn and Taryn caught up in the net at Blast Off.

Taryn trying to climb over the moving cylinders.
All three of them trying to go over the moving cylinders

Johnnie playing in one of the many pits of balls.
Enjoying the cookies

Brooklyn placing the dough on the pan.
(I am not really sure how much made it to the pan, verses the mouth)

I think she likes warm cookies and a tall glass of cold milk.

Johnnie woke up in time to get some warm cookies too.

See what I mean, about eating more than getting on the pan.
See the chocolate on her cheek.

The cookie gang.

Wow! You are great with kids. I am not even that great of a Tia. They are lucky if they get to play with my Playstation with they come to my casa. Glad you had a good time.
