Afternoon Surroundings
This summer I have totally taken advantage of the beautiful weather and the incredible surroundings of downtown Idaho Falls. Most lunches, I head down to the river to read my current book. I have mentioned this in previous posts. Everyday, I get so excited to go to lunch, to submerge myself in a new world, experiencing new things from the characters I am reading. I think this summer, I have read more books than in the entire past year, and it feels great to be able to enjoy English literature. I totally enjoyed The Last Song, and the first 2 books of the Hunger Games trilogy, anxiously waiting for the final book to be released in August. And now I am reading a book called the Undaunted by Gerald Lund. Another fantastic book, in which I get to read about the settlement of the San Juan Mission in South Eastern Utah, which is part of my heritage. Anyway, I love being able to pull up to beauty such as these and embark on a new adventure with every new page that is turned.

I read the first 2 books in the "Hunger Games" trilogy as well. What violent books! But, I couldn't put them down!:) If a movie is ever made out of it, eek, I don't know if it's one that I could watch. I really would like to read the next one and see how it all turns out:)
