Friday Night Farmin'

Friday night we had our final baby calf born and we were lucky enough to have Garners around so we could take Hayden to see the new baby.
Us taking Hayden out to see the new calf,

I was on the phone talking to a trucking company for work.
Found the new calf among the herd, so I picked it up and brought it closer to Hayden.

The calf mooed quite loudly and it scared Hayden and made him cry.

Hayden finally adjusted to the calf and actually seemed interested after the calf just laid there without making a sound.

He sat and petted the calf for a few minutes and then we set her free to go eat from her momma.
Sheeza came by to say hello to all of us.
She is such a friendly horse.

The Garner Family

This would have a been a really cute picture if it wasn't for Uncle Chris making a stupid face.

He has ruined quite a few pictures by doing this.

I think it is an Avery thing, they like to have their mouths open in pictures. I have quite a few examples of his siblings doing the same thing.

Ron taking care of the Magpies that live and poop around the farm.

They leave huge messes on our cars.

After taking a ride to see the cows we built a fire and had tin dins and s'mores.

It was a great way to start off a great nice weathered weekend.
