This year for our family reunion we had plans to go to Blanding, but plans changed. We decided to stick close to home, well close to home for some. We had our 5th (really 5 already, time flies) reunion in Provo and Salt Lake. We are glad we did too, Kade decided that he wanted to make an early entrance into the clan and be a big part of this reunion. Friday, before the we were all to meet, Kelle ran into some complications and was enduced. Saturday, Kelle was in full labor, so Kelle and Gene stayed at the hospital while the rest of met up and went to Seven Peaks for the day. We had a great time. Mom stayed with the kidlets while the rest of hit the slides. My favorite part of the slides was watching Dad and Dave go down the Boomerang. The look on Dad's face was priceless. I think it was because they were like 18 inches from the top of the slide. Even the lifeguard mention that they were the closest she has even seen someone get edge of the slide.
Kaleb reminded me of Dave when we lived in Oklahoma. He loves the water as much as David did at his age. He is so darn cute.
And well the Cornwell's can't do anything without having some kind of competition during our reunions and since we didn't have a field to play kickball, we decided to race each other on the slide. It was Dave, Me, Maggie and Dad.
We loved this ride we could have done it all day.

But by the end of the day, when we all looked like steamed lobsters

It was time to leave.

Sure can't tell he loves having his this little guy here.
Auntie Steph got to hold him, and remind him that we had a deal.
I am his favorite Auntie, been telling him this for months by talking to his momma's stomach.
Uncle Chris holding Kade for the first time.
Since the little kids couldn't go in to see him.

After the hospital, we headed to Liberty Park to enjoy the
beautiful weather and get something to eat.
They can't help but pose.
Monday we headed to Sandy to go to the aquarium.
I loved seeing all of the different sealife.
The jellyfish. I loved this picture.
Kaleb loved looking at all of the different species they have on display.
Most of us had to roll out of the icecream shop.

It must something about the name.
A fish that came up to say hi.
Seeing them, did bring back a memory I had in Oregon with my Aunt Jane. She took us to an aquarium and they let us put our fingers in the water. A seahorse attached it's tail to my finger.
I can't believe I had forgotten that.

After the aquarium, we met up with Kelle, Gene and Kade for Cafe Rio and Leatherbee's.

We had forgotten how big each dish really was.
(I can't believe I didn't get a good picture of Andrea. Sorry Andrea, love you.)
The kid sundaes were big enough for an adult.

After the icecream, some of us went to a movie and the others went back home or went to the hotels. But we had a great time and hated the fact that our reunion was once again over.
We all left Tuesday morning.

On our way home, we knew that Chris and I would be adding yet another addition to our nephews. Chris's sister Tracie was in the hospital laboring to bring another guy to our lives.
Chris and I got there just in time to see him being born. Tracie and John invited us to be in the room when he was born. We gave Tracie her privacy, but it was sure fun to be there when this guy came into this amazing family.
Welcome William Crew VanDyck.

Adorable new additions! Being an aunt really is fun, huh?!
Tracy and John's baby is darling, however the picture labeled with his name is Kade. Just a opps. I know this because of the outfit and the blanket, and of course that most precious and beautiful baby.
The mostest-Mom P.s. thanks for blogging, it makes lonely mom happy.
