We started our summer off well. We got together with the exception of the Garners to go camping up in Pine Valley. We spent a couple of evenings down at Grandpa an Grandma's house and we used their backyard to make memories. We played tag and then the kids tackled Grandpa. It was a magical way to spend the evenings.
We headed for Pine Valley and put up our tents during the small rain storms that settled in. Families rolled in as the evening rolled on, the Doyle's and Grandpa and Grandma just came up for dinner. Dad and Dave made Dutch oven. It was really good. But the best part was seeing all of the kids run around and hearing their excitement in the first camping trip of the summer. My weekend didn't turn out nearly as fun, but the end I had strep throat and was miserable. Glad I got to enjoy what I did.
