So we have had Bella Carina in our home now for a little over a month, and it has be a great experience. She is such a great puppy. She comes into the house to eat her puppy chow and then she just lays down in the same spot, right in front of the couch. She has not had one accident. She doesn't move from that area until the next morning. She doesn't roam the house and she doesn't chew on anything but her toys. She is good with kids and even does great in the car. When I went to St. George with Maggie, we took her with us. She just slept in back seat. She did great at my moms, though she had an accident on mom's rug. But other than that she is so so good.
Last night I had a few hours between work and school so I taught her how to retrieve (good thing since she is a golden retriever) and she knows how to sit on command. I can't wait to teach her more, which will happen when I enroll her in puppy training classes.
Today at lunch, Val told me that I have been so lucky to have such great dogs. I have to agree with her. My puppies all have been great, though they are not perfect. But they are so willing to learn and do anything to make me happy. I just love them. They definitely ease the void of not being able to have children.
